Lead exceptional events focused on the future and get corporate support for leading-edge ventures

Project-based, could be ongoing

Role:
We need someone with energy and insight who can potentially play dual roles, depending on their strengths:

Driving

We need someone who can help drive some of our events within existing structures. They will need extensive event and preferably sponsorship experience, initiative, imagination, and intense attention to detail.

Your primary role is to take ideas and execute them effectively within limited budgets, working closely with chairman Ross Dawson, a small core team, and our global network of designers, developers and writers.

You will have diverse experience a running a range of different types of events, notably sponsor-driven. You will already be well-embedded in networks of relevant influencers.

Events
The Insight Exchange and our associated company Future Exploration Network are well known for our high-profile branded events, including our Future of Media Summits, held simultaneously in Sydney and San Francisco, Enterprise 2.0 Executive Forum, SME Technology Summit, and others.

Events under planning include:

  • Future Creative Network
  • Future Australia Network
  • Future of Work Summit
  • Entrepreneurs & Self-Employed Xmas Party

We are considering a number of other small to mid-sized events targeted at the corporate and technology sectors, primarily in Sydney, and also will be working with partners on events in the US and Europe.

Capabilities:

We are looking for people who can point to significant experience in:

  • Event management
  • Structuring and selling sponsorships
  • Accessing influencer communities in business and/or technology

Pay
Hourly rate plus profit share.
