Provide compelling insights on where the PR industry is heading

Location:
Anywhere (though we always especially like people in Sydney!)

Scope:
Varies from irregular articles to ongoing part-time work

Role:
We have recently launched a web publication Creating the Future of PR, with the intention of supporting an exceptional future for the Public Relations industry globally. We are looking for editors and writers who are highly knowledgeable about the latest trends in the PR industry from both an agency and client perspective.

Editors will identify compelling articles, perspectives, and data and work with writers (and sometimes analysts and designers) to create outstanding content. Industry relationships to be able to invite insightful writers are particularly valued.

Regional editors will report on and get contributions on what is distinctive about the evolution of the PR industry in regions and major countries including Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Latin America, Africa, Middle East, South-East Asia, South Asia, China and Japan.

Writers will write provocative and insightful articles of interest to senior executives involved in the PR and related industries. These will include perspectives on recent news, insights into current issues, and interviews. We are open to regular and irregular contributors, though we also value the ability to post quickly in the wake of relevant news and developments. The ability to understand how the industry might change in years to come is essential. We will actively feature and promote our writers and their work.

We are also looking for Evangelists who can engage with the PR community, attract contributors, manage online communities, link us to industry associations, spread awareness of the site, draw in potential sponsors, and support local events on the Future of PR. They would have deep engagement in the PR community in major PR markets.

  • Deep understanding of the technologies and approaches that are transforming PR
  • Ability to write, edit or research clear, compelling, provocative content
